Successfully making ttukbagei-gyeranjjim for breakfast. Successfully making black sesame and green tea ice cream for dinner tonight. Wondering what will show up in my Tea Embassy monthly subscription package. My vintage pearls, which I got for a song at a garage sale. Getting all of the dishes done, for once.
My new coasters
I had my first Pilates teacher training class today, and it was great! I’m feeling really excited and inspired. Getting to send friends poetry care packages. Solo living room dance parties first thing in the morning. The old furniture I put on the curb has all be claimed within about five hours. Restoring my cast iron teapot that had a bit of a rust problem. Hooray for home repair!
My gorgeous new dining set
My new dining set is here, and it is absolutely perfect. Having proper coasters so I don’t mess up my new wood furniture. I have a student who always asks me what tea I’m drinking in class, and this simple question always makes me so happy. Getting breakfast burritos from La Cocina de Consuelo yesterday Canceling things I don’t really want or need.

The inspiring and supportive message I received from the dean this afternoon. My new table has shipped! Ryan Cunningham is back on the J. Brown Yoga Talks podcast , and it is such a great episode. Kaya Mindlin, one of my favorite yoga teachers, is launching a new online offering , and I am so excited about it. Getting to do a grammar Ask Me Anything in class today. I had great fun with it.
My mystery bag from BookWoman!
My mystery bag from BookWoman was filled with some great poetry and poetry-inspired treasures. I managed to wax my legs at home without too much trouble. Fiona Apple’s new album is amazing. Spotify showing me that two of my other friends are listening to Fiona Apple’s new album at the same time that I am. (Okay, that’s also maybe a little creepy. But in quarantine, also comforting.) I managed to get everything I needed at just one grocery store this week.
